Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Seyir Yardımcısı ("App") is developed by Bayer Bilişim A.S. ("Company"). Protecting our users' privacy is one of our top priorities.

2. Data Collected

Data Stored on Device

• Driving data: Speed, location, altitude, incline, heading. This data is stored on your device.
• Preferences: Vehicle class, notification settings, theme preference, language selection.
• Offline road database: Speed limit data is downloaded to the device and stored locally.

Anonymous Data Sent to Server

The following data is associated with an anonymous device identifier (UUID). It does not contain names, emails, or any other personal information:

• Device registration: Platform (iOS/Android), app version, OS version, device language.
• Corridor data: Average speed, distance, duration, and road type between road segments.
• Speed corrections: User-reported speed limit corrections with location.
• Hard braking events: Location and severity of hard braking incidents.
• Road segments: Regional average speed statistics (1 sample per minute).
• Alert locations: Location, speed, and limit when a speed alert is triggered.
• Weather data: Weather conditions, temperature, and visibility correlated with speed during driving.
• Audio profiles: Frequency analysis data from the noise reduction feature (uploaded with user consent). No audio recordings are stored or sent.
• Drive feedback: Post-drive feedback (rating, speed accuracy assessment, comment) sent anonymously to the server.

Referral System

The app includes a referral system. Referral code creation, sharing, and redemption data is stored on the server with an anonymous device identifier. No personal information is included.

Microphone Usage

Microphone access is used when the noise reduction feature is active. Audio data is processed and filtered in real time. Raw audio recordings are not stored on the device or sent to servers. Only frequency analysis results (audio profiles) may be uploaded with user consent.

Background Location Access

Background location access is used during active drives when the app is in the background. This feature can be enabled or disabled in app settings. Background location data is only used during active drive recording.

Data Not Collected

• Names, emails, phone numbers, or other personal information
• Location history (location is only used during active drives)
• Raw audio recordings

3. Data Security

Server communication is performed over HTTPS with JWT (JSON Web Token) authentication. All device identifiers are anonymous UUIDs. No data containing personal information is transmitted to servers.

4. Third-Party Services

• Apple / Google: Subscription payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
• Sentry: Crash reporting. No personal information is sent (sendDefaultPii: false). Active only in production builds.
• PostHog: Anonymous product analytics. Auto-capture is disabled. No personal information is collected. Details: PostHog Privacy Policy.
• Open-Meteo: Location is sent for weather data. No personal information is included.
• OpenStreetMap / Overpass API: Approximate location is sent for road type detection. No personal information is included.

5. KVKK Compliance

The app complies with Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). Although data associated with an anonymous device identifier (UUID) does not technically constitute personal data, you may exercise the following rights under KVKK Article 11 in the spirit of transparency:

• Article 11/a: The right to learn whether your data is being processed
• Article 11/b: The right to request information if your data has been processed
• Article 11/c: The right to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly
• Article 11/ç: The right to know the third parties to whom your data is transferred
• Article 11/d: The right to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
• Article 11/e: The right to request deletion or destruction of your data
• Article 11/f: The right to request that corrections and deletions be notified to third parties to whom your data has been transferred
• Article 11/g: The right to object to a result produced against you through exclusively automated analysis of your data
• Article 11/ğ: The right to claim compensation for damages caused by unlawful processing of your data

• In-app: Use the "Download My Data" or "Delete My Data" buttons under Profile.

Requests will be resolved free of charge within 30 days (KVKK Article 13).

6. Data Retention

Anonymous data sent to the server is retained for a maximum of 24 months after collection. Data beyond the retention period is automatically deleted. Crash reports on Sentry are automatically purged after 90 days.

Data stored on your device (drive history, preferences) is automatically deleted when you uninstall the app.

7. Children's Privacy

The app is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be announced via in-app notification.
